Name mispelled on a speed ticket

One year ago I got a speed ticket. The police officer wrote my name and surname wrong. In total he misspelled 3 letters in my all three names.

Now I was summoned to the court because I didn't paid the ticket.

Is there any low to say that a misspelled fine ticket will be voided?

I signed the ticket upon receiving and I signed the summoning upon receiving. From what I know from international law, signing a ticket only means that you received it, not that you admit to be guilty. The same with the summoning.

I am planning to go to the court and ask the judge to declare the ticket void as a result of procedure vice. Can anyone give me an advice about this one?

The last fine I went to court for was 43 euro. I signed that I accept the charges and they sent me home a penalty of 250 euro. I paid this one but I am not planning to pay another time this highly exaggerated amount. I'd rather pay a lawyer.

Your guilty pay the fine or go to court and pay a bigger fine :-)

If you were speeding, the fact the officer mis-spelt the name does not mitigate the non-payment of the fine. I think you would be wasting your money fighting this one.

the ticket has your license plate numbers. its your car and the name is pretty much similar to yours on the speeding tickets. Pay your fines and stop messing about trying to get out of not paying it, you wont win this arguement anywhere in the world!!

Ithe only way you can avoid paying 43 euros or 250 euros is not to speed in the first place.

First of all the judge must demonstrate that he is judging the right person. As Far as I am concenren, my name is not on the fine.

Ok, there are my address, my telephone number and my registration plates.

However, the main identification for a person is the name. A person cannot be identified by the telephone number, registration plates or address.

Or if it can, then the judge must demonstrate that it is absolutely impossible that the officer can write my name misspelled 3 times, but he can write correctly beyond doubt the registration plates, address and telephone number. Maybe he misspelled another three letters or numbers in these information as well.

Maybe next time you will receive by post a fine with a different name but your address, your registration plates and your telephone number. Will you happily pay 250 euro then?
