Citizens of countries that are not part of the European Union who are planning a visit or move to the Republic of Cyprus should enquire at the Cyprus Embassy of their home country for up-to-date information on entry and residency requirements. Most non-EU citizens may enter Cyprus for up to 3 months on a valid passport with no visa being required. Information on a stay longer than 3-months for work, study or any other reason enquire at their local Cypriot High Commission or Embassy. Find out more from website CyprusVisa.eu
US CitizensAmerican citizens need only have a valid passport for visitors' entry to Cyprus - no visa is required - for a stay of up to 90 days (3-months). However if planning a move for employment, study or any other reason applications should be made before arrival. Full details of the application process are available from the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus.
Americans in Cyprus with residency issues can consult the US Consular section of the US Embassy in Cyprus
